Message from Pat James

I have served with the Wycliffe Bible Translators for over 40 years.  I am
alone now, but when our family started with the mission, there were seven of
us: My husband Ted and our five children.  Ted died in 1990 of colon cancer.
I have continued to work at the JAARS center in North Carolina which is the
auxiliary arm of Wycliffe.  At JAARS, we offer support to missionaries in a
practical way - airplanes, construction and maintenance, printing, ground
transportation, and may other ways.  Since my retirement in 1998, I have been
working with the grounds transportation department taking people to the
airport in Charlotte an hour away.  I also take some of the older missionary
ladies who do not drive to visit with friends, relatives, and churches.  That
has been a lot of fun.  I am in relatively good health for my age.  God has
been good to me over the years and to my family.  I thank you all at
Hagerstown Bible Church for making it possible for me to continue with the
work of Bible Translation over the years.  God bless you!
