Services

We are planning on a Drive-in Church Service at Camp Tohiglo at 10:35 a.m. on Sunday

May 24, 2020. We are required to remain in our vehicles and are not allowed to enter the

buildings, hand out anything, receive an offering or have any physical contact with each

other. But we can see each other, sing together, and study the Bible and pray together, which

is wonderful.

Sunday May 31, 2020 at 10:35 a.m. will be the first Sunday Worship in our building. We

are required by our Governor to practice Phase One Recovery restrictions. We may only

admit half of our building capacity, which is approximately 150 people. We are required to

wear masks the entire time we are inside, including for singing. This is different than what

was first reported. We are not allowed to shake hands or hug. We must practice Social

Distancing entering, leaving or while inside our building.

Social Distancing

The Social Distancing requirements mean that we must avoid bringing people in close

proximity to each other. We will not have children programs, Sunday School or a staffed

nursery. We ask parents to keep their children with them. We should not eat or drink with

each other. We want to avoid contact by reducing the things we touch together. We will use

an Offering Box and not pass the plate. The Water Fountains will be covered. We ask that you

sit together as a family and in a staggered way so that there is some distance between

people. The pews are roped off for this. We ask that you pick up your own bulletin, so they do

not need to be handed out.

Steps to follow in Building

We ask that you enter the building from the side door and go directly to a seat in the

sanctuary and keep your mask on. We will be dismissed by an usher one row at a time, as at

a wedding. We may talk with each other inside the building, but with our mask in place and

at a distance. We may remove the mask if desired outside of the building and talk to each

other, but with Social Distancing.
